Stake India: Casino, Sportsbook and the INR and Crypto Wallet

Stake at a glance

Stake.com opened in 2017 as a casino and sportsbook built around crypto payments. One account covers the casino lobby, the sportsbook, the poker room and a wallet that holds Indian Rupee next to more than 20 cryptocurrencies.

Counts change as studios add or retire games. Product details follow below, from the licence to the sportsbook, the casino floors and the account tools.

Licence and operator

Medium Rare N.V., registered in Curaçao under No. 145353, runs the platform. The operator's Terms name Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1451/0918.

• operator: Medium Rare N.V., Seru Loraweg 17 B, Curaçao;
• payment agents: Medium Rare Limited (HE 410775, Nicosia) and MRS Tech Ltd (HE 477481, Larnaca);
• licence: Curaçao Gaming Authority, OGL/2024/1451/0918;
• disputes: CADRE B.V., the alternative dispute resolution body named in the Terms.

An offshore licence does not authorise online money gaming in India. The Act and the court cases are under India's legal position, and ownership details under company background.

Provably fair results in Stake Originals

Every Stake Original runs on a commitment scheme with cryptographic hashing. The operator commits to a hashed server seed before the round, and the player's client seed goes into the same calculation.

• fair result = operator's input (hashed) + player's input;
• the server seed is revealed after use and must match the hash shown in advance;
• a Fairness button under each Original opens the seeds behind a bet;
• third-party sites have open-sourced the check, so anyone can recalculate a result.

Stake is a verified operator on the Crypto Gambling Foundation network. Provably fair proves a result was not altered; it does not change the RTP or the house edge. Seeds and hashes are explained under provably fair.

How the site is laid out

The site splits into two halves, Casino and Sports, joined by one wallet and one account menu. On phones the same layout folds into a single column.

• Casino: lobby rows for Stake Originals, slots, live casino, game shows, burst games and poker;
• Sports: pre-match and live boards, sport by sport, with one bet slip;
• Wallet: deposits, withdrawals, Swap Crypto and Buy Crypto;
• Account: the Vault, which keeps funds apart from the playing balance;
• Settings: account e-mail, Security for 2FA and passkeys, Offers for bonus drops;
• Stake Smart: limits, breaks and exclusions under Responsible Gambling;
• Stake Chat: chat rooms by language.

The interface runs in English and Hindi, and balances can show in INR through the Display crypto in fiat setting. Every casino game carries an info panel marked “i” with its rules and RTP.

Features in numbers

Six features define the product. Each card carries one figure.

Registration in four steps

An account opens with an e-mail address and personal details, or through Google, Facebook, Line, Twitch or Kick. A code sent by e-mail confirms the address and unlocks deposits and withdrawals.

1. Open stake.com and select Register.
2. Enter an e-mail address and the personal details the form asks for.
3. Complete the form to create the account.
4. Select Verify Account and enter the code from the e-mail.

The minimum age is 18 or the age of majority under the law that applies, whichever is higher, and only one account per person is allowed. The form fields and e-mail check are covered under the registration guide. PAN, Aadhaar and Voter's EPIC rules sit under KYC documents.

Bonuses and promotions: how they work

Rewards follow the VIP rank and the amount wagered, not a sign-up offer. The VIP Club ranks every account by total wager in USD, from Bronze at $10k to Obsidian at $1B.

Forum challenges and the community

Every week Community Manager members post several challenges on the Stake Forum, the operator's community board. Chat events and rain drops run in Stake Chat next to them.

• challenges run weekly, several at a time, on the Stake Forum;
• Stake Chat opens to players who have wagered at least $500 once;
• each chat room takes messages in its own language, and politics and religion are off limits;
• Rain in chat needs more than $3,500 wagered over 7 days, a verified identity and active chat use;
• Daily Rains, Trivia and Roll Hunts run inside the chat.

Some rewards still arrive only by e-mail, Telegram or X. Messages about an account come from noreply@stake.com, and marketing from noreply@mail.stake.com.

Payments in INR and crypto

The wallet holds Indian Rupee alongside more than 20 cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC, DOGE, BCH, XRP, TRX, BNB, SOL, POL and more. USDT runs on ERC20, BEP20, Polygon, TRC20 and Solana.

• each deposit must be wagered once in full before a withdrawal or tip;
• coins can be bought through Moonpay, Swapped.com, Swap Connect and Mesh;
• Swap Crypto changes one coin into another inside the wallet within up to 2 hours;
• the Vault under Account → Vault keeps funds apart from the playing balance;
• a confirmed e-mail address is required before any deposit.

Deposit routes are under deposit methods. Payout times sit under withdrawal limits and timing.

Web app for Android and iOS

The Stake app is a progressive web app (PWA): it opens from the browser and sits on the home screen like an installed app. There is no APK on Google Play.

Android

Chrome and other Android browsers install the web app from their menu.

1. Open stake.com in the Android browser.
2. Open the browser menu.
3. Pick Install app or Add to Home Screen.
4. Launch the new icon and sign in.

iOS

On iPhone and iPad the install runs through Safari.

1. Open stake.com in Safari.
2. Tap Share.
3. Pick Add to Home Screen.
4. Launch the new icon and sign in.

The web app runs the same site, so the account, wallet, live markets and settings carry over. Device notes are under the web app.

Sportsbook: sport by sport

Football leads the board with 939 upcoming fixtures, and cricket, tennis, basketball and esports follow. Every price shows in decimal odds, with the bet included in the return.

Esports

CS2 lists 27 matches, Dota 2 10, Valorant 4 and League of Legends 2, from IEM and BLAST events to the EPL Masters. Titles are under esports betting.

Fixture counts are as checked and change every day as matches start and new ones are added.

Sports bets count 3× towards VIP progress, and sportsbook rakeback is 3.5% of each bet's theoretical value at a 3% house edge. Markets and odds sit under the sportsbook guide.

Main competitions through the year

The board follows the sporting calendar, so the list of competitions shifts with the seasons. The table shows the main ones and when they fill the board.

IPL markets appear only in season and leave the board when the season ends. Outside it, cricket runs on T20, ODI and domestic league fixtures.

Virtual leagues: SRL simulations

SRL stands for simulated reality league. An SRL fixture is a computer simulation of a match between named teams, and the league name carries the SRL tag.

• cricket: Big Bash League SRL, Caribbean Premier League SRL, Pakistan Super League SRL and T20 International SRL;
• more cricket: Premier League SRL, Super Smash SRL and SA T20 League SRL;
• tennis: SRL invitational events for men and women.

The result comes from the simulation, so no ball is bowled and no scorecard exists outside the platform. SRL fixtures follow the same bet types and odds format as real matches.

Live betting and cash out

Live betting covers events in play, with odds that move with the score, and live streaming runs alongside covered events. Markets can be suspended while play is in progress.

• cash out settles a bet before the event ends, at the value offered at that moment;
• Same Game Multi: no cash out;
• player props: cash out only before the match starts;
• events without live coverage: no cash out in play;
• cashed-out and voided bets earn no rakeback.

A bet counts as accepted only once the sportsbook confirms it on the slip. Placed bets cannot be cancelled by the player; Edit Bet changes a bet where the feature is available.

Bet types on the slip

The slip handles five bet types, from a plain single to multis with Stake Shield. Odds of 1.60 on INR 100 return INR 160, the bet plus INR 60 profit.

Casino: Stake Originals, slots and burst games

The casino runs on six floors: Stake Originals, slots, burst games, live tables, game shows and poker. Every game shows its RTP or house edge in its info panel.

Live casino, game shows and table games

The live casino streams 118 dealer tables, most of them from Evolution, and Game Shows hold 48 titles. Table rows group the games by type: 29 roulette, 22 baccarat and 19 blackjack.

Stake Poker and rummy

Stake Poker is the operator's own card room, where players sit against each other rather than the house. The room earns through rake, and poker rakeback returns 3.5% of it.

• Texas Hold'em and Omaha, the two core formats;
• Pineapple, with three hole cards and one discard;
• All in or Fold and the fast-fold Next! tables;
• live poker from Evolution: Casino Hold'em, Texas Hold'em Bonus Poker and Caribbean Stud, played against the dealer;
• Points Rummy and Deals Rummy, both with 13 cards, two decks and Jokers.

Poker Exclusion closes the card room on its own, from 1 day to 1 year or indefinitely. Formats and room policies are under the poker room.

Game studios

Outside studios supply most of the catalogue. Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, Nolimit City, Push Gaming, Relax Gaming, Hacksaw Gaming and Games Global feed the slot rows, while Evolution runs most live tables and Spribe the Aviator group.

Stake Engine is the operator's platform for independent studios, and games built on it sit in the lobby next to studio titles. Casino bets in INR run up to INR 100,000,000 per bet, with profit capped at INR 10,000,000; the full lobby is under Stake casino.

Responsible gambling tools

Stake Smart groups the account limits and exclusions in one place. Lowering a limit takes effect at once; raising it waits 24 hours.

• loss and wager limits: daily, weekly or monthly;
• deposit limit: daily, in local currency;
• Break in Play: 1 day, 2 days, 1 week or 1 month, then the account reopens on its own;
• Self Exclusion: indefinite, with a minimum of 6 months;
• Product Exclusion: the casino or the sportsbook on its own;
• Poker Exclusion: from 1 day to 1 year, or indefinitely;
• Account Closure: immediate, with reopening after a 24-hour cooling-off period;
• a self-test and a Budget Calculator.

Accounts cannot be deleted, only closed. Tools and help lines are listed under responsible gambling; Tele-MANAS 14416 answers free, around the clock, in 20 languages.

Support and contacts

Support runs around the clock through live chat and e-mail. There is no phone line; each e-mail address handles its own type of request.

• support@stake.com: general questions and password reset problems;
• recovery@stake.com: lost 2FA access or a lost e-mail address, restored within 48 hours;
• accountclosure@stake.com: closing and reopening an account;
• Help Center: articles in English and Hindi.

Account e-mails come only from noreply@stake.com; check the sender before entering any code. Contact routes are under support contacts. Sign-in help sits under login help.

Legal status in India

Since 1 May 2026 the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 bans offering, advertising and paying for online money games in India. Penalties fall on operators, advertisers and payment handlers; no section of the Act sets a penalty for playing.

The operator does not list India among its prohibited jurisdictions, which is company policy, not Indian law. A Curaçao licence does not authorise online money gaming in India, and challenges to the Act are pending before the Supreme Court without a stay.

Help with gambling problems is free on Tele-MANAS 14416, around the clock. The Act, court cases and tax are covered under India's legal framework, and account limits under safer gambling tools.
