How a round of Crash works

Crash runs in rounds shared by every player. A betting window of about five seconds opens between rounds, then the multiplier climbs from 1.00×.

  1. Enter the bet amount during the betting window.
  2. Set an optional Cashout At target, such as 2.00×.
  3. Press Bet; mid-round the button reads Bet Next Round and queues the bet.
  4. Cash out while the multiplier climbs, or let the Cashout At target do it.

A cash out before the crash pays the bet times the multiplier reached. If the rocket crashes first, the round ends and the bet is lost.

Crash settings in the bet panel

The bet panel holds four controls. Each one sets part of the round before the multiplier starts.

  • Bet Amount, with ½ and 2× buttons;
  • Cashout At: the multiplier at which the bet cashes out on its own;
  • Bet Next Round: places the bet for the coming round while one is running;
  • Profit on Win: the estimated profit at the chosen target.

A lower Cashout At target pays smaller amounts more often. A higher target pays more and is reached less often.

Multiplayer rounds

Every player watches the same multiplier in real time. A live leaderboard lists active bets and each cash out as it happens.

The panel counts players and the total bet in the current round. A row above the chart shows the crash points of recent rounds; those values have no effect on the next one.

Crash at a glance

Crash pays up to 1,000,000× the bet. RTP and house edge stay the same at every cashout target.

Manual Bet and Auto Bet

Crash has two bet modes. Manual places one bet per round, Auto runs a series on fixed rules.

Crash bet modes
ModeHow it works
Manual BetWager and cashout target set before each round; estimated profit shown before the bet is confirmed
Auto BetBet amount, number of rounds, and Stop on Profit or Stop on Loss limits

Auto limits work as bankroll limits. They do not forecast where the multiplier stops.

Is Stake Crash provably fair

Each Crash result comes from a server seed, a client seed and a cryptographic hash. The operator publishes the hash of the server seed before the round and reveals the seed afterwards.

  • the revealed seed can be hashed and matched against the commitment;
  • the result cannot be changed once the round begins;
  • a crash at 1.05× or a run to 500× does not shift the odds of the next round.

Seeds and hashes are explained in the seed-checking guide. A single-player version of the same idea is Limbo, and the full list is in the Originals hub.

Limits that matter in Crash

No method predicts where the multiplier stops. The 1.00% house edge holds over the long run whatever the cashout target.

  • set the cashout point before the round, not while the curve climbs;
  • keep the same target after a low crash, since every round is generated separately;
  • decide the budget before the first round and never raise bets to cover losses.
