About This Guide

What the guide is

The guide explains how Stake works: the casino, the sportsbook, accounts, payments, the VIP Club and the law in India. It describes what is there and leaves opinions out.

• each chapter shows the date it was last checked;
• the Indian law on online money games is covered on the legal status in India page;
• help contacts are on the responsible gambling tools page.

What the guide is not

The guide is a separate site with no link to Medium Rare N.V. beyond the partner buttons described on the disclosure page. Accounts, bets and payments live only on the operator's site.

• the guide is not Stake or Medium Rare N.V. and does not speak for either;
• it takes no bets and holds no money;
• it cannot open, unlock or close player accounts;
• account questions go to the operator's support desk.

How information is checked

Every detail goes through the same check before it is published. Anything that cannot be confirmed in a primary source stays out.

1. Read the operator's pages: lobby, game information panels, Terms of Service, policies and footer.
2. Read the matching help-centre articles at help.stake.com.
3. Compare legal details with Indian primary sources: the Gazette, MeitY, PIB and court records.
4. Record the check date on each page.
5. Update the page when the operator, a regulator or a court changes something.

Publishing rules

India's Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 bans advertising of online money games. The guide is written with that in mind:

• the guide publishes no codes or offers of its own; reward mechanics are described as the operator publishes them;
• sponsorship deals and well-known people appear only as reported facts, never as endorsements;
• no instructions on getting around blocks or restrictions;
• every page about money or play names a helpline and links to the law.

Corrections and questions about the guide go to info@stake-ind.net. Account questions cannot be answered there and belong with the operator.
