Stake Originals Blackjack: 99.43% RTP
Stake Originals Blackjack is the in-house version, built on classic rules: reach 21, or get closer to it than the dealer, without going over. Each round deals two cards to the player and two to the dealer.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| RTP | 99.43% |
| House edge | 0.57% |
| Regular win | Pays 1:1 |
| Natural blackjack | Pays 3:2 |
| Insurance | Offered when the dealer shows an Ace, pays 2:1 |
| Player options | Hit, stand, split, double down |
| Fairness | Provably fair, server seed and client seed |
Every hand can be checked after it settles. The server seed and the client seed together fix the cards, and the result cannot change once the round starts.
18+Stake Originals Blackjack opens from the Table Games row.

How a hand of blackjack plays out
A hand runs in a fixed order, and only the player's choices change between rounds. Number cards count at face value, picture cards count 10, and an Ace counts 1 or 11.
- Set the bet amount.
- Deal the hand: two cards go to the player and two to the dealer, one of them face up.
- Take another card with Hit, or keep the total with Stand.
- Split a starting pair or double down where the hand allows it.
- Watch the dealer play out the hand; the higher total without going over 21 wins.
A regular win pays 1:1, and a natural blackjack, 21 on the first two cards, pays 3:2. A total over 21 is a bust and loses the bet straight away.
Hit, stand, split, double down and insurance
Five decisions shape every hand. Each one changes either the bet or the number of cards in play.
Hit
Takes one more card. A total of 11 or less cannot bust on a single card.
Stand
Keeps the current total and passes the turn to the dealer.
Split
Turns a starting pair into two separate hands. The new hand needs an extra bet of the same size.
Double down
Doubles the bet in exchange for exactly one more card.
Insurance
A side bet offered when the dealer's face-up card is an Ace. It pays 2:1 if the dealer holds blackjack, which covers the original bet, and is lost otherwise.
Bust chances by hand total
The higher the total, the more likely one extra card pushes it past 21. At 14 the chance of a bust on the next card passes 50%, and at 18 it reaches 77%.
| Hand total | Chance of busting |
|---|---|
| 11 or less | 0% |
| 12 | 31% |
| 13 | 39% |
| 14 | 56% |
| 15 | 58% |
| 16 | 62% |
| 17 | 69% |
| 18 | 77% |
| 19 | 85% |
| 20 | 92% |
Two-card starting hands follow their own spread. A natural 21 lands in about 4.8% of deals, hard totals of 17 to 20 in about 30.00%, and decision hands up to 16 in about 38.70%.
House edge across blackjack tables
Blackjack carries one of the lowest edges in the casino: about 0.5–1.5% with favourable rules and correct basic strategy. Table rules and player decisions move the exact figure at each table.
| Game | RTP | House edge |
|---|---|---|
| Stake Originals Blackjack | 99.43% | 0.57% |
| Evolution Live Blackjack | 99.29% | 0.71% |
| OneTouch Blackjack | 99.13% | 0.86% |
- house edge equals 100% minus RTP;
- side bets such as insurance carry their own edge, separate from the main bet;
- betting systems such as Martingale or Paroli change the pattern of bets, not the edge;
- the figure holds over the long run, not over one session.
Tables without a published figure list their RTP in the information panel marked “i” or in the game rules.
Live and studio blackjack tables
Most of the row streams real dealers from a studio. Each table lists its rules, payouts and RTP in the information panel.
Evolution
The Blackjack lobby gathers Evolution's classic live tables. Lightning Blackjack, Power Blackjack, Easy Blackjack and three Infinite tables run as named variants with their own rules.
Pragmatic Play
ONE Blackjack, Bet Behind Pro Blackjack and the Turkish and Brazilian ONE tables sit next to the studio's own Blackjack lobby.
OneTouch
Stake Blackjack in the row comes from OneTouch, a studio title carrying the operator's name.
Quickdeal, LK7 and XLab
Blackjack Lite, Blackjack 100, Blackjack 2000, Blackjack 5000 and BlackJack 1000 fill out the row.
